The agreement
These terms are the agreement between you and Waoo Network ("we", "us") for using Waoo Storage. Using it means accepting them. If you do not, do not use it - and if you already have, delete your data from your account page and the agreement ends.
The version of these terms in force on any day is the one this page shows for that day. Earlier versions stay readable below, so you can always see what applied when.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in, so keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has it. Changes to a paid plan ask for your password each time, so a borrowed or stolen session cannot change your card or your plan.
One account is for one person or one household. You may share a location with someone else where the app offers it; you may not resell access.
Your content is yours
Everything you put in - item names, descriptions, values, photos - stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to store it, show it back to you, and show it to anyone you have shared it with. That permission ends when you delete the content.
Do not upload anything you do not have the right to store, and do not use the service to catalogue anything illegal.
What this is not
Waoo Storage is a record-keeping tool. It is not insurance, not a valuation service, and not a substitute for a professional appraisal. Values are the ones you entered; nobody has checked them.
If you keep an inventory for a claim, keep your own copy too. Export it - that feature exists for exactly this. On Starter the export includes only the entries Starter keeps open, so take your copy while your plan is active.
Plans
- Starter is free and stays free. It holds one location, three bins and ten items. If your account holds more than that, for example after a paid plan ends, see going back to Starter below.
- Paid plans lift those limits. The plans on offer, what each includes and what each costs are shown on the pricing page and again on the upgrade page before you are asked for a card.
The price you are charged is the one shown when you buy. Where sales tax applies, the upgrade page says whether it is added on top or included, and how much, before you pay.
Payment and renewal
- How you pay. You pay by card through our payment providers, Stripe or Square. You type your card into their form, not ours; we never see or store your full card number.
- Automatic renewal. A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period - every month for a monthly plan, every year for an annual one - and the card you saved is charged for the next period, until you cancel. Your account page shows the next renewal date and amount.
- Receipts. Each charge is emailed to you and listed in the billing history on your account page.
- Changing your card. You can replace the card on your plan at any time from your account page. Nothing is charged when you do, unless a renewal is overdue, in which case it is tried on the new card straight away.
If a renewal fails
If a renewal cannot be charged, your plan stays on while the card is tried again one, two and three days later. We email you each time, so you can update the card. If none of those attempts succeeds, the plan ends and your account goes back to Starter.
Going back to Starter
Going back to Starter never deletes anything, but only part of your inventory stays open:
- Your oldest entries stay open. Your oldest location, your oldest three bins and your oldest ten items work as normal. You can see them, change them and export them.
- Everything newer is locked. It stays stored, but shows only as a blurred entry. You cannot open it, see its name, details or photos, change it, share it, print its label or export it.
- Upgrading unlocks everything straight away, exactly as you left it.
- Deleting makes room. Deleting an open entry moves the next oldest one into your allowance, so it unlocks.
- You can always delete everything. Deleting all of your Storage data from your account page removes locked entries too.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops the next charge: you keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, then your account goes back to Starter with everything kept, as set out under going back to Starter above. You can undo a cancellation from the same page before the period ends.
If a renewal has already failed when you cancel, the unpaid renewal is dropped and the plan ends straight away.
Deleting all of your Storage data from your account page also cancels your plan, so you are not charged for storing nothing.
Refunds
Payments are for the period they start, and cancelling ends the plan at the end of that period rather than refunding part of it. If you believe you were charged in error, write to us and we will put it right; where the law gives you a right to a refund, you have it regardless of this section.
If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of asking us, the plan it paid for ends while the dispute is open.
Changing plans
You can switch to another plan with the same billing period from your account page. The switch takes effect at your next renewal, at the new plan's price, so you are never charged twice for the same period. Until then you keep the plan you have.
Price changes
We may change what a plan costs. A change to the price you already pay is emailed to you at least 30 days before the first renewal it applies to, and it never applies to a renewal before that. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before that renewal and you will not be charged it.
A price reduction applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you about that too.
Availability
We aim to keep the service up and will not always succeed. There is no uptime guarantee, and features may change as the product develops. Anything that would remove your access to data you have entered will be announced first.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months. We are not liable for indirect losses - a rejected insurance claim, a lost item, a missed sale.
Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.
Changes to these terms
These terms can change. A new version is posted on this page with the date it takes effect before that date arrives, and earlier versions stay readable. A change to what you pay is handled as set out under price changes above.
